A conversation with Ayfer Tunç at the London Book Fair

Organisers of the London Book Fair announced that London Book Fair 2020 has been canceled due to the escalation of covid-19 coronavirus in Europe.

 

Yunus Emre Institute in London and the Istros Books welcome one of Turkey’s most respected authors, Ayfer Tunç, for the UK launch of her latest book in English, The Highly Unreliable Account of the History of a Madhouse.

In this conversation with Ayfer Tunç and the book’s translator, Feyza Howell, the stories within it, it’s popularity in Turkey as well as the challenges of translation will be discussed. The conversation will be chaired by Susan D. Curtis, the Founding Director of Istros Books.
