Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update
Yunus Emre Institute in London will be closed for the foreseeable future (subject to government guidelines), as part of the measures we are taking against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Courses and events for the near future will therefore be online only. Due to the current situation, we understand the uncertainty everyone is facing and have thus lowered the prices on all of our arts courses. We hope to see you at the Institute soon.
It is with great regret that we announce the postponing of our events scheduled to take place throughout March and April 2020. We come to this decision as part of the measures put into place against the risk of the Coronavirus (COVID -19) outbreak. We aim to re-schedule the events to a later date.
-> Talk by Savaş Karakaş: Echoes From the Deep (March 19th)
-> Exhibition: Echoes From the Deep (March 20th – April 9th)
-> Talk by Prof. Nurhan Atasoy: Ottoman Gardens & Europe (March 23rd)
-> Talk by Prof. Nurhan Atasoy: Ottoman Culture in Europe: 1453-1699 (March 25th)
-> Turkish Waltzes with Cihat Aşkın (April 1st)
Our courses have also been affected by this decision. We hope to resume face-to-face teaching after April 20th as usual however; we will re-evaluate our course start dates if necessary. We are currently working on potentially delivering online classes as well. You can follow updates via our website at www.yeelondon.org.uk
