CALLIGRAPHY COURSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The course will commence on Saturday 19th May 2018 and take place at Yunus Emre Enstitüsü – London once a week every Saturday from 10:30am-1:30pm. The last lesson will be on Saturday 7th July 2018.
- The course will run for 8 weeks, 24 hours in total. The duration of each session will be 3 hours with short intervals.
- The course is open to people of all abilities and background including those who have an interest in writing. No knowledge of written or spoken Arabic is required. Participants with prior experience of calligraphy are also welcomed to attend.
- Classes will be conducted in English, but the course materials may cover both English and Turkish.
- Each class will consist of approximately 6-14 students.
- In order to run a course the number of applicants cannot fall below 6. If the number does not reach the standards required at the end of registration, the Institute can withdraw the course 1 day prior. If the course fee has already been paid by the students, this will be refundable. All refunds will be paid to the student’s bank account.
- The enrolment deadline for the course is on 18th May 2018 at 1 pm. The course fee will need to be fully paid to our bank account by this time.
- Applicants need to FULLY complete the registration form provided by the Institute and email a scanned copy of a photograph to londra@yee.org.tr
- The fee includes course materials which will be provided by the Institute.
- It is possible to withdraw any applications with no charge before the start date of the course. After the start date (enrolment deadline) of the course 25% will be deducted for administration work and the remaining will be returned. The first two weeks of the course will be induction weeks; during these two weeks if a student wants to withdraw their application the same 25% deduction of the course fee will be applied. After two weeks are completed and the student would like to terminate from the course, no refund of the course fee will be paid.
- All cancellations must be notified to the secretary in formal writing. Clearly explaining the reason, acceptable means of communication include letter and email.
- Course certificate of achievement will be provided to those individuals who have completed the course successfully.
- All students will be responsible for their valuables. In any case the Cultural Institute will not take any responsibility for missing valuables.
