DESCRIPTION:Thematic Summer Schools \nEach year\, Yunus Emre Institute organizes the International Summer Schools program\, bringing together participants from various parts of the world to engage in courses held in different cities and universities across Türkiye. As Türkiye’s prominent cultural institution on the global stage\, the Institute will host the Turkish Archaeology\, Turkish Fashion\, Turkish Cuisine\, and Contemporary Turkish Art summer school programs from 14 to 31 July 2025 in Istanbul and several other cities throughout the country. \n \n[vc_btn title=”More Info & Registration” color=”success” size=”lg” align=”left” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.summerschools.yee.org.tr%2Fen%2Fkurslar|target:_blank”] \nTurkish Archaeology Summer School\nABOUT THE PROGRAM \nYunus Emre Institute conducts educational and cultural activities through its cultural centers and liaison offices around the world\, while also supporting scientific research. As part of its mission to promote Türkiye’s cultural heritage\, the Institute is organizing the Turkish Archaeology Summer School\, which will take place from 17 July to 31 July 2025. The program will start in Çanakkale and continue through İzmir\, Gaziantep\, Şanlıurfa\, and Ankara\, concluding in Istanbul. The 15-day training program will provide on-site experiences with regional Turkish cuisines. Through practical workshops and under the guidance of expert chefs\, participants will learn local recipes and culinary techniques. DESCRIPTION:For the past few years\, we have been fortunate to close Ramadan Festival at Trafalgar Square\, a historic gathering place in the heart of London. \nIn 2025\, we continue this cherished tradition. and we are delighted to collaborate with Ramadan Tent Project\, in partnership with the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Directorate of Communications\, Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB)\, Aziz Foundation\, My Fridays\, EverGive\, Islamic Relief and Vita Coco for the 2025 Open Iftar event at Trafalgar Square. \nAs a treasured tradition marking the culmination of Ramadan\, the Open Iftar brings together communities from all walks of life to experience the spirit of unity and sharing. Every year\, we gather under the skies of London’s iconic Trafalgar Square\, witnessing the powerful resonance of the Adhaan (call to prayer) echoing across the city. \nThis year\, Yunus Emre Enstitüsü – London is proud to present a very special performance titled “Mystic Sounds from Anatolia” as part of this remarkable gathering: Featuring Muhammed Recai Çiftçi on Vocal & Tanbur\, Baha Yetkin on vocal and oud\, Muammer Sağlam on percussion and Serdar Yılmaz on qanun. \nJoin us in celebrating these sacred final days of Ramadan at one of London’s most historic landmarks.
