DESCRIPTION:Thematic Summer Schools \nEach year\, Yunus Emre Institute organizes the International Summer Schools program\, bringing together participants from various parts of the world to engage in courses held in different cities and universities across Türkiye. As Türkiye’s prominent cultural institution on the global stage\, the Institute will host the Turkish Archaeology\, Turkish Fashion\, Turkish Cuisine\, and Contemporary Turkish Art summer school programs from 14 to 31 July 2025 in Istanbul and several other cities throughout the country. \n \n[vc_btn title=”More Info & Registration” color=”success” size=”lg” align=”left” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.summerschools.yee.org.tr%2Fen%2Fkurslar|target:_blank”] \nTurkish Archaeology Summer School\nABOUT THE PROGRAM \nYunus Emre Institute conducts educational and cultural activities through its cultural centers and liaison offices around the world\, while also supporting scientific research. As part of its mission to promote Türkiye’s cultural heritage\, the Institute is organizing the Turkish Archaeology Summer School\, which will take place from 17 July to 31 July 2025. The program will start in Çanakkale and continue through İzmir\, Gaziantep\, Şanlıurfa\, and Ankara\, concluding in Istanbul. The program features renowned Turkish chefs and brings together international chefs to share the Turkish table and forge new friendships through gastronomy. The 15-day training program will provide on-site experiences with regional Turkish cuisines. Through practical workshops and under the guidance of expert chefs\, participants will learn local recipes and culinary techniques. During our monthly gatherings we will explore Turkish books that have been translated to English on a journey through Türkiye’s rich literary landscape. This month we will kick off our first session by reading A Mind at Peace (Huzur) by Ahmed Hamdi Tanpınar\, a must-read that is sure to transport you to the streets of 1923 Istanbul\, delving into the precarious balance between tradition and modernity.
