With expertise in Quranic recitation and Turkish makam music\, his contributions to Turkish religious music are highly respected. \nBaha Yetkin\, a master oud player and composer\, known for his unique fusion of Istanbul and Middle Eastern music. He has collaborated with renowned Turkish and European musicians and made history as the first Turkish oud player invited to perform flamenco in Spain and to give a solo recital at Royal Albert Hall. Based in London\, he continues to perform internationally\, releasing critically acclaimed albums like The Pearl (2019) and The Turkish Oud (2021)\, blending intricate rhythms\, emotional dynamics\, and spiritual themes in his compositions. DESCRIPTION:For the past few years\, we have been fortunate to close Ramadan Festival at Trafalgar Square\, a historic gathering place in the heart of London. \nIn 2025\, we continue this cherished tradition. and we are delighted to collaborate with Ramadan Tent Project\, in partnership with the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Directorate of Communications\, Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB)\, Aziz Foundation\, My Fridays\, EverGive\, Islamic Relief and Vita Coco for the 2025 Open Iftar event at Trafalgar Square. \nAs a treasured tradition marking the culmination of Ramadan\, the Open Iftar brings together communities from all walks of life to experience the spirit of unity and sharing.
