This 9-week\, in-person course will take you on a hands-on journey\, from preparing gold leaf to mastering the traditional techniques of calligraphy decoration. Under the guidance of expert instructor Nagihan Seymour\, you’ll work on a unique “hat” calligraphy piece\, written by professional calligraphers Hattat Hanifi Dursun and Serdar Türken\, and decorate it using ancient methods of Tezhip. The course runs from 7th April to 23rd June 2025 on Mondays\, 6:00 – 8:30 pm (UK time)\, and all materials are included. Whether you’re an aspiring artist or simply passionate about Ottoman culture\, this course is tailored for all levels. Spaces are limited\, so don’t wait!
