A Tasting Dinner – Musa Dağdeviren

A Pinch of Anatolia is back, this time with world-renowned Turkish chef and food anthropologist Musa Dağdeviren. He is the author of the critically-acclaimed The Turkish Cookbook and the first Turkish chef debuted in Netflix’s docu-series “Chef’s Table”.

A Pinch of Anatolia is offering an exclusive menu made up of original recipes from chef Musa Dağdeviren’s research in Anatolia, from little-known regional dishes to those which Turkish cuisine is famous for.

For the second edition of “A Pinch of Anatolia” series, we are excited to welcome Musa Dağdeviren, who is a world-renowned Turkish chef and the owner of Çiya Sofrası in Istanbul. Dağdeviren has been an influential force in documenting and recording regional cookery in villages throughout Turkey. In addition to his work as a chef, Musa Dağdeviren also founded the Çiya Foundation to train young culinary students in traditional folk cooking styles. He also publishes books as well as the quarterly journal “Yemek ve Kültür”. He is the author of The Turkish Cookbook, which won the Gourmand Award. Furthermore, he is also the first cook from Turkey to take part in Netflix’s gastronomy docu-series “Chef’s Table”.
