What an incredible evening! We at Yunus Emre Enstitüsü – London are thrilled to have hosted a special workshop on Turkish & Japanese Tea Ceremony with Dr. Qayyim Naoki Yamamoto. It was truly a journey through cultures. On Friday, 26th April, we embarked on a captivating exploration of the cultural and spiritual connections between Turkish and Japanese traditions. Dr. Yamamoto’s masterful guidance through the Japanese tea ceremony, along with his insightful discussion, offered a unique experience that resonated with everyone who attended. Guests not only enjoyed authentic matcha tea but also had the opportunity to taste traditional Turkish tea and a selection of delightful refreshments. The event was further enriched by a display of handcrafted art that beautifully blended Turkish and Japanese influences.
