Oguz Karakas, Anadolu’s project management coordinator, stressed at the event the Israeli government’s “non-selective killing” of innocent civilians in Gaza, subjecting people to hunger, and thirst and depriving them of basic humanitarian needs.
“As members of Anadolu, we want to highlight these horrific crimes unfolding in Gaza,” he said. Karakas highlighted the importance of The Evidence, saying many incidents might have gone unnoticed without it. “Anadolu is committed to playing its part, we’ve been gathering evidence, all now compiled in our book, The Evidence. We did not just compile them, we submitted the book to the International Criminal Court (ICC).” Reiterating that the documentary shows the world what has been happening in the besieged Palestinian enclave, Karakas underlined that they “want the international community to take more action with real results.” He thanked Anadolu’s President and CEO Serdar Karagoz for supporting the project in every stage of production.
