What a vibrant evening! On 9 August 2024, we hosted an unforgettable miniature painting workshop, led by the talented artist Sema Yurtseven. The workshop was a true celebration of Ottoman miniature art, offering participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the intricate beauty of Turkish miniature painting.
Under Sema’s expert guidance, attendees transformed blank 10 x 15 cm postcards into colorful works of art. Designs ranged from elegant horses to the charming Arnavutkoy Mansions, each piece coming to life through the unique artistic touch of the participants. The atmosphere in the room was filled with creativity, as everyone contributed their personal flair while blending history and art in a meaningful way.
