The event, led by theatre artist Mengü Türk, invited children to immerse themselves in the rich tradition of Turkish shadow theatre. Under Mengü Türk’s guidance, attendees had the opportunity to create their very own Karagöz & Hacivat puppets, bringing these iconic characters to life.
After crafting their puppets, the children took center stage, performing their own shadow plays, showcasing their creativity and bringing the traditional art of Karagöz & Hacivat to a new generation.
It was a day filled with fun, culture, and artistic expression, offering children a hands-on experience with one of Türkiye’s most beloved theatrical traditions.
