On 30th November, we had the pleasure of visiting the Victoria and Albert Museum with Nagihan Seymour and our Tezhip course students. Together, we explored the museum’s unique Turkish collection, admiring exquisite artifacts from tiles to carpets that showcase the depth of Turkish artistry.
From ceramics to textiles, we also discovered how traditional Tezhip patterns were integrated into daily life, revealing the timeless beauty and functionality of these designs.
To complete this inspiring day, we gathered as a group to create our own designs, drawing inspiration from the incredible heritage we explored.
