Yunus Emre InstituteYunus Emre Enstitüsü – London organised a special workshop for children on 1st February 2025, titled “Nunu’s Art Gallery” Storytime and Art Workshop. Aimed at children aged 3-8, this interactive event, led by renowned author and illustrator Özlem Fedai Korçak, provided a fun and creative space for young participants to explore art and the Turkish language.
The workshop, part of the Yunus Kids’ Club activities, allowed children to engage with the story of Nunu, a character known for her imaginative art gallery. Through an interactive storytime, imaginative discussions, and a hands-on painting activity, children created their own artworks inspired by Nunu’s adventures. The event culminated with a special book signing session where participants had the opportunity to meet the author and purchase her book.
This unique workshop aimed to foster creativity, cultural connection, and artistic expression, leaving participantswith lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for storytelling and art.
