Our new workshop “Celebrate Earth Day with İznik Tile Painting | The Tree of Life” is coming up—don’t miss this chance to honour nature through art! Join us on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm (UK time) for a unique ceramic painting experience guided by traditional arts expert Nagihan Seymour.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the rich symbolism of the Tree of Life motif in Ottoman art while learning the timeless techniques of İznik tile painting. Inspired by nature and Earth Day, this experience blends cultural heritage with artistic expression. After learning the steps of traditional design transfer and brushwork, you’ll paint your own tile, which will be glazed and kiln-fired by the instructor for collection after the event.
