Our GCSE Turkish tutoring programme supports students in developing their Turkish language skills while gaining a wider appreciation of Türkiye’s culture, history, and literature. Through our tailored and interactive lessons, students are equipped with the confidence and ability to succeed in their exams and beyond.
Students are expected to already have the appropriate level of Turkish required for GCSE study.
Our programme focuses on:
Language Development
Students build a solid foundation in Turkish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure. Lessons are designed to support clear and accurate communication, both in speaking and writing.
Reading Skills
We work with a variety of Turkish texts – including short stories, articles, and dialogues – to improve reading comprehension and analytical thinking.
Writing Practice
Students are guided through different writing tasks such as descriptions, essays, and short letters. Emphasis is placed on clarity, structure, and appropriate use of language, helping students express their ideas effectively.
Listening & Speaking
Speaking and listening tasks are practised through real-life scenarios and guided activities. Students strengthen their pronunciation, listening comprehension, and confidence in everyday conversations.
Cultural Awareness
In addition to language skills, we introduce key aspects of life in Türkiye, including traditions, customs, and historical context, helping students understand the language within its cultural setting.
Exam Readiness
We provide guidance on exam techniques, practice with past papers, and regular feedback. Each student receives support to identify areas of improvement and develop effective revision strategies.
