Turkish Speaking Guide for Foreigners
Yunus Emre Institute will introduce yet another publication on teaching Turkish as a foreign language.
To address the much felt need in the field, the Institute is preparing “Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Konuşma Kılavuzu” (Guide for Speaking Turkish for Foreigners) taking into consideration the situations which a foreigner may encounter in Turkey. The guide, prepared in about six months through meticulous efforts by specialist instructors of the Institute, will be marketed in an interactive manner. The book contains sample dialogues from various social situations at the airport, hotel, restaurant, hospital, etc., along with the relevant vocabulary, and pronunciations have been made by expert vocal artists.
The guide contains 21 chapters to provide information in every situation which one many encounter in social life. The guide will soon be marketed with its English and Arabic versions, given the number of speakers of various languages, and it is slated to be a very popular book for tourists/foreigners visiting Turkey.
