Yunus Emre Institute at the European Short Film Festival 2025

Yunus Emre Enstitüsü – London is proud to represent Türkiye at this year’s 7th European Short Film Festival, also known as In Short, Europe, taking place on 7–8 November 2025 at Regent Street Cinema.
Organised by EUNIC London with partners including the EU Delegation to the UK and University of Westminster, the festival will showcase 19 short films celebrating diversity, inclusion, and shared stories from across Europe under this year’s theme, Opening Doors.
Türkiye will be represented by Nursing Home (Huzurevi), directed by Ahmet Toklu, screening on Friday, 7 November at 7 PM. The 11-minute film follows Havva, a woman navigating illness and personal struggles while caring for residents in a countryside care home, offering a touching reflection on compassion and human connection.
Through its participation, Yunus Emre Enstitüsü – London continues to highlight Türkiye’s creative voices internationally and support cultural dialogue through film and the arts.
