Join us for a magical journey into the world of Karagöz & Hacivat with our Shadow Puppet Making Workshop! This engaging, hands-on experience is perfect for children (ages 7–12) and their accompanying adults, offering a fun and educational introduction to the rich tradition of Turkish shadow puppetry. Under the guidance of expert performer Mengü Türk, participants will design, paint, and assemble their very own Karagöz & Hacivat puppets before bringing them to life on a real shadow play stage.
This 2-hour workshop blends storytelling, arts & crafts, and performance, encouraging creativity, fine motor skills, and cultural appreciation. All materials are included, and no prior experience is necessary—just bring your imagination!
