The evening will commence with the screening of “Neandria” at 18:30, followed by a panel discussion on Sustainable Filmmaking moderated by former BBC presenter Phillip Bergson at 20:00. The esteemed panelists include Dr. Ekin Gündüz Özdemirci and Nurten Bayraktar from EkoFilm: Sustainable Production Platform, Environmental Humanities Center, Cappadocia University, Türkiye.
“Neandria” explores the story of Suna, a young girl living near the ancient city of Neandria, as she navigates her dreams amidst environmental threats and societal challenges. The film provides a poignant reflection on the pursuit of freedom and self-discovery in the face of adversity.
