Stained Glass Taster Workshop | Copper Foil / Tiffany Technique | Traditional Geometric Patterns | Demet Tokbay
Join us at London Craft Week for a hands-on stained glass taster workshop exploring the beauty of glass, colour, and pattern through a traditional decorative art form. Led by Demet Tokbay, this 3-hour session at Yunus Emre Institute offers an accessible introduction to stained glass through geometric patterns inspired by Turkish and Ottoman art.
Focusing on traditional geometric design, the workshop introduces participants to the visual language of stained glass in a clear and manageable format suitable for beginners. Participants will be guided step by step through the process, gaining insight into the materials, structure, and decorative qualities of the medium while creating their own small piece during the session.
Open to all levels, this workshop is ideal for those interested in traditional arts, ornament, material processes, and hands-on making.
