Join us for Yûnus’un Otağı: Culture and Language Club. Each session explores a unique aspect of Turkish culture through hands-on activities, storytelling, and discussions, offering an engaging way to enhance language skills.

  

📌 This Week’s Topic: Anatolian Carpet Motifs

This week will focus on Anatolian Carpet Motifs, offering participants a chance to explore the rich symbolism and cultural heritage woven into traditional Turkish carpets.

Participants will learn about the historical significance of Anatolian carpets, the meanings behind different motifs, and how these intricate designs reflect Turkish traditions, beliefs, and daily life.

The session will include a hands-on activity where participants will have the opportunity to design their own carpet motifs. This interactive experience will provide a deeper appreciation of Türkiye’s artistic heritage.

  • This club is exclusively for students enrolled in Turkish language courses at Yunus Emre Enstitüsü – London.
